METIS… AI Social Glasses

Stay Smart On the Go

What are you looking for — in real life?

With METIS social matching, your glasses help identify compatible people around you — turning chance encounters into meaningful connections, naturally and effortlessly.

The Verio App centers on a core concept of **offline perception assistance paired with online affinity-based social networking**. While the smart glasses are required to enable the core functionalities, the online social features remain fully accessible even without the glasses. The app's features are categorized into three tiers—Core, Auxiliary, and Basic—summarized as follows:

Core Features
1. **Perception** (Requires Glasses): Upon capturing an image, AI analyzes the subject's observable characteristics to generate a "Profile Card" (detailing status, temperament, and traits) and a "Connection Card" (offering conversation starters and common ground). This creates a social interaction log—stored without any accompanying photos—that remains completely invisible and imperceptible to the other party.

2. **Affinity-Based Socializing** (App-Only Accessible): Matches users based on personality traits and shared interests, offering access to affinity-based groups, user recommendations, and topic-specific posts. Supports sending greetings and engaging in real-time chat.

Auxiliary Features (Requires Glasses)

  • - Real-time Translation: Translates cross-language conversations, displaying the translation simultaneously via both audio (earpiece) and visual (screen) output.
  • - Smart Meetings: Transcribes audio recordings and generates structured meeting minutes (including summaries, action items, etc.).

Basic Features

  • - Profile Initialization: Guides the user through a multi-stage assessment of personality, interests, and social objectives to generate a personal profile (serving as the foundation for affinity-based matching).
  • - Device Management: Facilitates pairing with the smart glasses; allows users to monitor battery levels and connection status, set wake words, and toggle Auxiliary Features on or off.
  • - Basic Utilities: Includes a Message Center (for unread notifications), Personal Profile Editor, and System Settings. These features remain visible within the user interface even for users without the smart glasses; however, the core functionalities are locked, and the interface prompts the user to purchase the device to unlock them.
